Does anyone miss the "Full Size Save" button from Lightwave 1.0 and
2.0? (The current Lightwave gives you no choice in the matter --
there is no "full size save" button to turn off...)
Since I use a PAR, I have to feed it 752x480 size images. Rendering
high-res letterbox pics (1504x640), I had to first save all the images
to disk (good thing I have a DAT handy), then load them all into ADPro
where they were scaled by half and then composited over a black
752x480 backdrop (FRED comes in handy too), and then saved out to the
PAR. (Work's fine, BTW.)
Loading the high-res images into Lightwave as a background sequence
works, but the image quality suffers -- the details break up and it
looks like medium-res.
Does anyone know, since 3.5 will support resolutions up to 8000 x
8000, if there will be any facility for saving these high-res pics
to a 752x480 IFF file?
Or, for that matter, why was the "full size save" button dropped?
